CO2 ZERO, developed by WHA Group, is a tool that enables customers to calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within their organizations across all three scopes. The emissions are calculated by scope, allowing users to plan, set targets, and effectively reduce their GHG emissions.

Our platform is free to use and helps organizations store and manage their carbon footprint data, as well as measure, track, and mitigate their environmental impact efficiently.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) refer to the scope of emission sources that an organization is responsible for or needs to consider when calculating its carbon footprint or setting Net Zero targets.

GHG emissions are categorized into three scopes based on the organization’s level of control or influence over the emission sources:
🔹 Scope 1: Direct emissions
These are emissions released directly from the organization’s own activities, such as fuel combustion in company-owned machinery or vehicles.

🔹 Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy
These emissions come from the generation of energy that the organization purchases and uses, such as electricity from power plants. Although the emissions occur offsite, they are attributed to the organization’s energy consumption.

🔹 Scope 3: Other indirect emissions
These are emissions from activities that are related to the organization but occur from sources not owned or directly controlled by it, such as:
•    Employee commuting and business travel
•    Transportation and distribution of goods
•    Production of raw materials by suppliers
•    Waste disposal
•    Use of the organization’s products after sale

What is Renewable Energy Certificate?

Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) are the recognized instrument for claiming the production and use of electricity from renewable energy sources.

Each REC represents the environmental benefits of generating one megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable energy. By purchasing and retiring RECs, you can verifiably offset your indirect (Scope 2) greenhouse gas emissions associated with electricity consumption.

Our RECs are issued & approved by EGAT (Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand) under the International Tracking Standard Foundation (I-TRACK).
